Kvås kindergarten

Preg Kindergarten Kvås is a private kindergarten with a Christian value profile, run by the Norwegian Lutheran Missionary Association (NLM). The kindergarten is located in bright and cosy premises at the former Kvås Folk High School, in the middle of the village of Kvås in Lyngdal municipality. With a short distance to forests and fields, the nursery gives children plenty of opportunities to explore nature through play and learning.

The nursery is approved for 27 children aged 1-5 years, divided into one department. With 11 employees, the centre ensures close follow-up and a safe environment for each individual child. The parent survey shows a high level of satisfaction, with an average score of 4.5 out of 5. Areas such as the child's well-being and development, as well as the relationship between children and adults, scored particularly highly.

The kindergarten emphasises communicating Christian values through everyday activities, gatherings, songs and the celebration of holidays such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. Through play, learning and care in a safe environment, the children meet new challenges, experience mastery, joy and well-being.
