Business development in Kvinesdal Municipality
Kvinesdal municipality wants to ensure that entrepreneurs and existing businesses have the best conditions for further development in the municipality.
We help individuals to realise their own business, and we offer free entrepreneurial offices for a period of time. Kvinesdal municipality is a co-owner of Etablerersenteret Agder IKS/Driv Agder. This means that if you are in the start-up phase and need counselling, it can be ordered at www.drivagder.no
DRIV Agder also offers a wide range of courses. All courses are free for entrepreneurs in Kvinesdal municipality.
Kvinesdal municipality is also a co-owner of Lister Nyskaping, a Siva business park. If you are an established company with the ability and desire for sustainable growth and development, you have the opportunity to enter into a so-called target company agreement and get help with restructuring and developing your company.

Lister Business Association
Lister Næringsforening is dedicated to promoting value creation in the Lister region. The association acts as a link between the private business world and the public sector, and focuses on knowledge sharing and cooperation. Through networking arenas and professional events, they facilitate meetings between members, so that they can make contacts and exchange experiences.
Lister Næringsforening works to create an attractive residential and business region with continuous progress. U45 – Business network in the Lister region

Marine industries
Inakva LAB aims to facilitate infrastructure within research and development, as well as to establish contact with interdisciplinary competence ecosystems at Agder. Among other things, the municipality has available commercial space at Åmot Industrial Estate, which is close to the town centre and home to a number of other interesting companies.
There is vacant land at Øye, which is close to the harbour, the E39, a power hub, surplus heat from Eramet, and there is already an established attractive industrial environment in the area.
At Opofte, there is vacant space just off the E39 motorway. Opofte is centrally located between Kristiansand and Stavanger, and in the centre of the Lister region.
