Who we are
A solid and down-to-earth construction company with roots in the Lister region.
Since 1983, Brødrene Thorkildsen AS has developed and built important infrastructure across the country – from roads and site development to transformer stations and larger, complex construction projects.
Over more than 40 years, the company has held on to what matters most: closeness to its people, customers and local community. Big enough to handle demanding projects for the state and county, yet still small enough that you know the people you work with.
What we do
Why work here
An environment where people stay
An inclusive and down-to-earth culture with short distances between management and employees. A low threshold for asking questions, suggesting ideas and taking responsibility.
Modern and sustainable
Investing in modern technology and electric machinery. ISO-certified in quality and environmental management.
Room to grow
Varied workdays, a focus on skills development and apprenticeship programs – and a short path to more responsibility for those who want it.
Working with us
Brødrene Thorkildsen AS sees a great need for further infrastructure development in the years ahead, and wants more skilled people to join the team – whether you're an apprentice, skilled worker, engineer or manager.
The company is proud to be a local employer that contributes to the development of the region, and supports the local community – among other things by backing local clubs and associations. If you're considering moving here, you won't just find a workplace, but an inclusive environment where it's easy to get to know people and settle in.
