A place with history
Korshamn lies at the outer edge of Lyngdal municipality, with around 100 permanent residents. People here live close to the sea; it has always been an important part of the place’s identity. Today the village is a popular destination. It is easy to see why, because it is simply beautiful here.

Korshamn is one of the historic outport harbours along the Southern Norwegian coast. In the 1700s and 1800s, ships sought shelter here from wind and weather, and the harbour was an important part of the trade routes along the coast. The history is still visible today. Narrow paths wind between older, white-painted wooden houses, and the buildings around the harbour give Korshamn an atmosphere all its own.

Cosy and charming are words that quickly spring to mind. A true Southern Norwegian gem is another way of putting it.
