Hellvik Hus is one of the country's oldest prefabricated house manufacturers. In Flekkefjord, they build homes, run a building supplies store and work towards sustainable communities – with their own engineers, architects and craftsmen under one roof.

Who are we?
Hellvik Hus was established in 1947 and is one of the country's oldest prefabricated house manufacturers.
Today we consist of the Hellvik Gruppen group and the Hellvik Hus chain, with 30 dealers covering large parts of Norway. We build houses, apartments and cabins in all sizes and styles.
We also work with plot development, property sales, and in the tender market and public tenders. We have in-house project and housing developers, a design department, sales team and construction management.
At our Flekkefjord branch, we also have a building supplies store, XL-Bygg, staffed by experienced people who can advise customers on interiors. We have dedicated departments for kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes.

Expertise and development opportunities
In addition to skilled craftsmen, Hellvik Hus has its own engineers, architects and civil engineers. A good working environment is essential for well-being and quality, and we prioritise a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Our employees are given the opportunity to develop within their field through courses and further education. Since we are part of a group where shared services aren't necessarily based in the same office, there are also opportunities for new tasks based out of our Flekkefjord office.

Innovation, sustainability and Eco-Lighthouse
Hellvik Hus always looks forward, with innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. This gives our customers both more affordable homes and homes with a longer lifespan. We have come far in digitalising our processes and use drawings with 3D models adapted to the plot, where files can be sent directly to a computer-controlled saw.
In 2021, we were certified as an Eco-Lighthouse, something we are proud of and strive to live up to. We are now working towards ensuring all our homes have a minimum energy rating of B, which among other things provides access to green loans.
Sustainability is also about supporting the local community – for instance by sponsoring teams and associations. But above all, it's about our core business focus: building sustainable communities for a good quality of life.
