Who we are
Egenes Brannteknikk is Norway's leading manufacturer of fire trucks.
Our fire trucks are built in Flekkefjord, and we deliver all across Norway, including Svalbard and Jan Mayen. We offer flexible solutions, adapted to Nordic conditions as well as each customer's own requirements.
What we do
A safe, social and diverse workplace
All our employees contribute to a strong social and professional community. We emphasize continuous learning and development, and place great focus on making Egenes Brannteknikk a safe and secure workplace. That's why we work continuously to improve our routines. We also have a canteen where we gather for lunch together, and throughout the year we hold several joint events.
There's room for everyone here. Several nationalities are represented, and we place great emphasis on everyone learning Norwegian as the main language at work. All our employees help each other with language understanding, and there's plenty of room to ask for help. We encourage our employees to build their skills and facilitate further education. Each individual has the opportunity to put their experience to use in the company, and there are good development opportunities. We care about seeing the whole person, and want each individual to be able to use their full potential.
Innovation, sustainability and local engagement
Egenes Brannteknikk aims to expand its portfolio across more segments within fire and rescue. We work continuously to improve our products and are always on the lookout for opportunities that can lead to innovation. Egenes Brannteknikk is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified for quality and environment, in addition to being Eco-Lighthouse certified.
Egenes Brannteknikk uses local suppliers wherever possible. We take on students for work placements and always have apprentices making up 10% of all employees. We strive to be a good partner for both local businesses and the wider community, and for many years have been a steady supporter of Norway's oldest rock festival, Fjellparkfestivalen, which is run by young people, for young people.
Working with us
We're proud of our onboarding process, which ensures new employees get a warm welcome and solid follow-up from day one. We place great emphasis on giving our employees a solid understanding of our company culture, along with training and support, so they can thrive and succeed both at work and in the local community. Our high employee satisfaction and low turnover are proof that we're a workplace that values and takes good care of its employees.
